CNM Continental 50 · 2010 · Twin MAN 800 HP · Arneson Surface Drives. A rare Italian-built sport cruiser, one of only eleven hulls in the world.
Built in Rome by Cantieri Navali del Mediterraneo, the Continental 50 is one of those quiet legends of Italian yard culture — a fast, beautifully proportioned sport cruiser produced in extremely limited numbers. Lila is hull eleven, and she is the last of her kind.
Twin MAN D2876 LE423 diesels deliver 800 horsepower per side through a pair of Arneson Surface Drives — the propulsion package favored by go-fast Italian shipyards for its efficiency and dramatic stern wake. Below, leather and lacquered wood wrap two staterooms and two heads. On deck, hydraulic side balconies extend outward to open the cockpit to the water — a feature almost unheard of on a fifty-foot boat.
Photographed dockside and underway on Biscayne Bay. Original 2010 hull, immaculately maintained, with the rakish bow and tucked-in stern that define the Continental series.

Two staterooms, two heads, and an interior wrapped entirely in leather and high-gloss veneer. The cockpit opens to a vast sun pad and twin hydraulic balconies — a 50-footer that lives like something larger.

Below decks, navy leather banquette seating faces a compact, fully-equipped galley with ISOTHERM refrigeration, electric cooktop, and 20-gallon water heater. Portlights and a forward skylight pull daylight deep into the hull.

The aft sun pad converts from settee to oversized lounger across the full beam. Forward, twin helm seats face a wraparound windscreen. Hydraulic side balconies fold outward at the touch of a button.

Twin Furuno chartplotters, joystick thruster controls, and analog MAN engine gauges sit beneath a panoramic curved windscreen. The helm position is high, dry, and unmistakably Italian.
What truly separates Lila from any other 50-footer on the market is what sits behind the transom. Eight hundred German horsepower per side, turning four-blade ROLLA NiBrAl propellers through a pair of Arneson Surface Drives — a propulsion package usually reserved for serious open-water performance yachts.

“Eleven hulls in the world, an MAN engine package most builders dream about, and Arneson drives behind the transom. This is a serious boat for the buyer who knows what they're looking at.”
